Relationship Manager
401kid is a leading provider of education investment advice and is looking for a Relationship Manager. Reporting to the VP of Client Services, the Relationship Manager will be accountable for the overall business relationships 401kid has with each of its clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client services relationships of 401kid advisory services
- Expand and develop key relationships to generate new and additional sales of services
- Ensure annual contract renewals by the client
- Grow and foster healthy relationships with key stakeholders and senior level management of the client
- Maintain and develop relationships with high-profile clientele
- Develop and maintain key retention plan and profitability
- Review quarterly reporting matrix against clients' success criteria
- Understand the clients' business goals and align 401kid in achieving client objectives
Qualifications:
- Five plus years' experience in dealing with a marquee client base
- Experience in the Financial Services arena
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exemplary interpersonal and client-facing skills
- Ability to listen and respond immediately, efficiently and effectively
- Proven track record in problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field advanced degree a plus

Investment Advisor Representative – Education Savings Plans (ESP)
401kid is currently seeking highly qualified investment advisor representatives to join our Advisor Center team. The Customer Service Center supports clients in our advisory and investment management programs. The positions involve receiving calls and proactively contacting clients to assist with account management and provide superior customer service. We offer a competitive compensation package.
- Servicing clients in our advisory and investment management programs through phone and email channels
- Answering questions from prospective clients with the end goal of achieving enrollment targets for corporate clients
- Assisting clients in developing plans to achieve financial goals through gathering relevant information
- Delivering a superior level of service quality and communicating performance of investment portfolios
- Providing ongoing service and support throughout the management cycle of the client’s account with the goal of retaining clients who are suited for the program
- Gathering feedback from customers on program offerings
- Resolving complex customer concerns and problems regarding retirement planning and investment strategies in a timely manner
- Ensuring client interactions are in compliance with ESP program and regulatory procedures compliance with all firm and regulatory procedures
- Serving as escalation liaison between our clients/partners and our Operations and Sales teams to ensure that client commitments are met
- Maintain awareness of future client commitments and how they relate to overall enrollment targets
- Creating training materials for delivery to internal or external service organizations
- Helping to build an environment that values teamwork, open communication, collaborative problem resolution and a strong sense of urgency to resolve client issues
- Providing suggestions for how service delivery and associated tools and processes should be enhanced
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 3-5 years financial services industry experience required, preferably with an investment advisory firm
- Strong client service skills and a real passion for exemplary customer service
- Very strong communication skills with experience working with internal and external clients
- Knowledge of 529 plans, mutual funds and defined contribution plans a plus
- Critical sense of detail and the ability to prioritize issues for appropriate escalation
- Demonstrated track record of success in working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to speak Spanish is desired
- Series 65 or ability to obtain
