Michael Yaron, Ph.D. Investor, Board of Directors

Dr. Yaron was the inventor and principal investor behind Exeter Technologies, where he took two young entrepreneurs, Arman Rousta and Charles Balsamo, under his wing right out of college.  Currently, he runs several profitable businesses, including a $100 million real estate management company, Yaron Properties, and an environmental consulting and abatement company, National Environmental Associates.  A self-made success, Dr. Yaron provides 401kid with the wisdom of over 25 years of international business experience, professional maturity and guidance.  As 401kid’s lead angel investor and a board member, Michael provides continuous support by lending advice to management, attending key meetings, and providing infrastructure such as office space. 

Dr. Yaron attained high honorable status as an officer in the Israeli Army by the age of 22, before coming to the U.S. in 1968 to further his education, which led to a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts.  Subsequently, Michael attained a Ph.D. in Engineering and Physics from Oxford University, England.
