Young Kim, Education Policy Advisor

Young is another of the original visionaries of 401kid and presently serves as a Research Analyst. Recently, Young has attained a Masters in Public Policy from the prestigious Oxford University in England.  He has exhibited diversity in his professional experience, from a legal background at Covington & Burling, a leading Washington DC law firm in regulatory and corporate law, to a teaching assistantship in Modern Languages at St. Lawrence University, to the Dow Jones Markets’ research team at its satellite office in Madrid.  In addition, He understands the IRS tax codes, in relation to education financing, including section 529, thoroughly.  This is a benefit to the rest of the team as well as to 401kid clients.  He holds a BA in Political Science and Spanish from St. Lawrence and is presently pursuing his Ph.D at the Oxford School of Public Policy.
