Arman Rousta, Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Arman Rousta is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of 401kid Inc. and has over ten years of entrepreneurial business experience in developing technology companies. Arman conceptualized 401kid in 1999 based on the major social dilemma of non-existent education planning resources for families. Since inception, Arman has spent his time establishing 401kid as a leading resource within the education planning field, by building a dedicated team, directing extensive industry research, and developing proprietary software. Currently, he spends time communicating the 401kid vision through a multitude of channels, including press coverage such from leading media sources like Barron's, Inc. Magazine, American Banker, and American Baby.  Arman has been featured on CNNfn and also as a speaker at national conferences such as the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.

Arman is also a Partner at Blueliner Marketing, a leading New York City based interactive agency.  Blueliner, which specializes in cost-effective, Internet-driven customer acquisition strategies, has been a key strategic partner for 401kid, as an investor and marketing partner.

Prior to founding 401kid, Arman spent five years as Co-Founder and COO of Exeter Technologies, a New York-based automotive electronics firm. At Exeter, Arman developed his managerial skills by directing several departments, including all financial operations, research & development, and sales. Arman was a contributing inventor to several Exeter products and guided the launch of the popular Park-Zone® in 1998, by devising the marketing strategy, training an international sales force, and managing product distribution. Arman's sales force was responsible for $7.5 million in sales over a two-year period. The Exeter Team garnered many accolades during his tenure, including Consumer Electronic Association's Innovations Award for Design and Engineering and Equip Auto's International Grand Prix Award for Technical Innovation. The A to Z start-up experience came full circle in late 1999, with the sell off of Park-Zone to publicly-held company, Measurement Specialties, Inc. (AMEX symbol: MSS).

In addition to practical business experience, Arman has spent the past twenty years mentoring students as a teacher, tutor, coach, and camp counselor. He holds degrees in Political Economics and Psychology from Columbia University.
