When it comes to investing, let’s face it”¦the average investor is relatively not well-educated, which means there is a high likelihood that his assets are not properly diversified. Besides investing exclusively in stocks, mutual funds and bonds, have you ever thought of buying some commodities, like gold, or how about a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT)?

Our CIO, Greg Frith, is constantly educating me on what a properly diversified portfolio truly means, and our job is to break this down to people of all income levels in a straightforward way, so they can take that knowledge back to their education plans and hopefully benefit as well in their overall financial planning. So, to make up for the lack of readily accessible guidance on this topic, we are putting together a Real Diversified Portfolio Guide and will let you know when it is available.
